Great Company For Care

I wanted to thank the entire staff of Amada Senior Care for providing support for my family through a difficult transition. My father lost most of his arm mobility for both arms in April 2021. After his surgery and time in the rehabilitation center most of the mobility had still not returned so the challenge for us was figuring out how to care for him at home and get him to all of the upcoming appointments for outpatient treatment since my mother also had some health limitations and did not drive.

Just before my fathers’ release from the rehabilitation center we started researching companies that could provide in home caregiver services. To be honest it was very overwhelming but the reason we chose Amada was that Jason, the site owner, took time to visit us in the facility and thoroughly explained the options available to us. Jason was also very knowledgeable about my father’s Federal Long Term Care Policy and explained how we could utilize the benefits for his care. Jason helped us establish a direct pay through the Federal LTC policy and explained the policy benefits so we could make the best decision for our family.

Once we made the decision to use Amada’s services their office staff took time to understand exactly what type of care of father would need and clarified the transportation services that he would need to meet his many doctor and therapy appointments. Within just a few days we were set up with a caregiver (Ms. D) who was a great match and was available just in time for my fathers’ release from the rehabilitation hospital.

Over the past year Ms. D has helped with all of my dads needs including bathing, haircuts, meal prep, transportation to appointments, assisting with at home exercises and therapy, etc. Basically everything he needed for his care. We are very thankful for the support and guidance from Jason and everyone from the Amada team.

Above and beyond

I want to thank Jason for all his help in processing claims for my 90 year old mother. He went above and beyond to do everything to make the process smoother. He was very knowledgable in advising me on things I needed to know and was always ready and willing to help whenever I need the help. Thank you Jason, you are the best!

Great Service

Jason did an excellent job helping us navigate the process for being approved by our Long Term Care Policy (Transamerica). And then the caregivers we had were wonderful- caring, competent and dependable. Thanks so much for providing the assistance that we needed at a difficult time.

We are happy to recommend Amada Senior Care and Jason to everyone we know who needs senior care services.

As valued members of society, seniors provide us with the many gifts of their experience if we just pause long enough to pay attention. Though there are challenges, we believe caring for seniors is a privilege, something we instill in our rigorously screened, trained, and compassionate caregivers from the beginning. They are as personally and professionally invested in the outstanding care and wellbeing of our clients as they can be, at all times taking the concept of senior care to the next level.

Senior Housing Advising

When seniors or their loved ones begin to feel that they require more support than in-home care and assistance with basic ADLs, it may be time to consider transitioning to an assisted living community.

Senior Housing Guidance and Assistance
Senior Care Housing Options

This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in Fort Worth is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy, and competence.

For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.

The team at Amada Senior Care Fort Worth has years of experience with senior care in Arlington, Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Fort Worth, Hurst, Keller, Mansfield, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Roanoke, Southlake, Trophy Club, Westlake, and surrounding communities in Tarrant County. As a result, we have deep knowledge of all local care communities and can make sure our clients find the ideal placement to suit their care needs, locations, lifestyles, and budgets.

We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence. To further ease cost concerns, the Amada Fort Worth team is pleased to offer its placement services free of charge.

When in-home care is no longer ideal for our clients, we are honored to guide them through this next phase. Our specialty is referring seniors to the right community or placement for them, which may include:

  • Assisted living communities
  • Large and small communities
  • Independent living communities
  • Board and care homes
  • Adult family homes
  • Senior care homes
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Alzheimer/dementia communities

Veterans Assistance Programs

Many of our veterans, their spouses, and their families may not be aware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government. At Amada Senior Care Fort Worth, we are dedicated to helping individuals eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial support take full advantage of these resources.

How is Aid and Attendance Eligibility Determined?

1. Military Service

  • A minimum of 90 days of active duty, with at least one of those days during wartime.
  • Must not have been dishonorable discharged.

2. Personal Care Needs

  • Applicant must currently require assistance with activities of daily living, such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.

3. Income

  • Majority of applicant’s income must currently be spent on care expenses.
  • The percentage of income currently spent on care will determine the benefits they receive.

4. Assets

  • The VA will determine an acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
  • Determination of financial assets will depend upon age and financial need.

How VA Aid and Attendance Benefits can Help You:

Through the use of VA benefits, seniors gain more financial flexibility for their care plans and potential placements. This may include:

  • More in-home care.
  • The community of their choice.
  • Benefits paid monthly with no repayment required.
  • Benefits are paid directly to claimants by the United States Treasury and are tax-free.

"I can’t thank you enough for the exceptional care you all showed for my Mom. I wanted to let you know how much our family appreciates you and your team of caregivers.”
